This is a picture of my multimedia authoring class, or rather some of the people in it. They might look like they’re hard at work but they’re really not, twice a week, for two hours, the docent – I love that word – walks in, puts an assignment up on the screen and sits there reading a magazine or surfing the web. I know we are supposed to have a lot of freedom but I don’t think we are learning anything by copying text from one document to another. She always states that she’s there to answer any questions we might have but the assignments are so preposterously easy that I have yet to ask a single question. Maybe my question should be “why haven’t you been fired yet?” but I don’t think that’s the kind of question she was talking about. Better go finish my assignment…
